"Housing is your very own plot of land in which you are able to build freely via the blocks you can unlock from the mystery box! Not only can you unlock blocks, but you can also unlock furniture, food, items, and plants."

Housing is a land plot system in which all players own their own square of land accessible with /home, which they are able to build in. Players can visit each others' Housings, featuring activities such as parkour, PvP, escape rooms/mazes, social hangouts, elaborate player-hosted minigames etc.

Housing was added during the Mystery Box Update (August 20th, 2015), along with the Mystery Boxes. Players build using either Creative mode, or the Housing Menu, and can customize aspects such as the size, theme, time of day, permissions, and more.

My Houses

By default, players are given one house to build on, but players can buy up to five plots. Two slots are available through rank upgrades, VIP giving one slot and MVP+ giving one more. A plot can also be purchased in the Hypixel Store for 1,000 gold.

Your house menu can be accessed through the /home command, or though the "My Houses" NPC in the Housing Lobby,

Visiting Other Houses

Players can join other people's houses by using the browsing menu or by typing /visit <player>. The browsing menu's sections (known as channels) can be changed by clicking on them.

The browsing menu can be accessed through the spruce door ("Travel to someone else's house") in the housing menu or the "Browse Houses" NPC in the Housing Lobby.

Housing+

Housing+ is for the Housing enthusiast looking to have some major upgrades, with features including larger plot sizes, increased stat duration, and more! It is available on the official Hypixel Webstore ($19.99 USD) or in the in-game store (1,999 gold)
Housing+ currently includes the following features:

  • Larger Plot Size

    • Automatically unlock the new 255x255x255 plot size which is 16x bigger than the previous largest size!

    • With this update, we've also enabled the ability for larger plot sizes (101x101x101 and above) to work with any theme. This means you can edit more of the world around it!

      • Note: some themes may cut off at weird locations since they are not designed to be used with these larger plot sizes.

  • Increased Limits

    • 5x the base limits increase on many systems, such as:

      • Regions

      • Holograms

      • NPCs

      • Custom Commands

      • Global and Player Stat Keys

      • Functions

      • Inventory Layouts

  • Increased Stats Duration

    • Increases the duration of player states and player stats by up to 1 year instead of the standard 14 days.

  • Exclusive Skull Packs

    • With this update, we've included two exclusive Housing+ skull packs: SkyBlock Pet Skins and SkyBlock Minion Skins.

    • We will update these packs over time and potentially add more - for all players as well as further potential exclusives for Housing+.

  • Housing+ Player Prefix

    • Show your support by having a golden + prefix in Housing which can also be toggled off via the /settings menu in Housing.

  • Egg Hunt Item

    • If you haven't already obtained the Egg Hunt Item, it will automatically be included with Housing+.
